See, I view bacon as ...Uh......Ok, here's my take. See, I view bacon as a forbidden fruit, if you will. You just can't have it that often (at least I can't), which is why it makes that savory, smokey flavor all the more sweet. I think if you put it on everything, it would be an overload. Also, If I wanted to infuse a meat with a bacon flavor, I'd use bacon. Then again, that's not zero calories. So, maybe that bacon salt may be ok if you use it sparingly.
